Tribute to Art Deco

I don't know why Tamara De Lempicka's artwork has this mysterious effect on me that awakens the raging diva that silently resides within me.

The sizzling art deco flavor transports me to another time, another era, a world of passion, sensuality, scandal and glamour.

(I would post some of her provocative work, but I don't wish to risk having my website blocked.)

zanzooonoooh,
your comment made me post a link that would demonstrate how the raging diva indeed exists, but is very much stifled and restrained.
& if my last sentence mananged to crack you up, then I encourage you to check the last comment above me.

loool 3asoobah, a post on 'you know who's oops' will definitely get my website blocked.

bunaz,
i don't know if they made a movie about her life, but if you have any ambitious ideas, please consider me to play her role.

hug,
I know exactly who you are referring to, and I assure you that your beloved OC is not half as handsome or muscular as the guy in the portrait, he does however have his cockiness.

erzy,
It does indeed look like a scene pulled out of Great Gatsby, or any Fitzgerald novel for that matter. The Roaring 20s is such an unbelievable, exciting, dramatic and scandalous era. Sometimes I feel that we (as in Kuwaities) are going through our own version of the American post-war 20s, with all the self-righteousness, religious confusion, materialism and debauchery.

Thank you.
